We could do something like this when our Squatter sees the family without his glasses on and thinks their terrifying, only we would blurr the picture/have it out of focus or just blur the edges when in first person in post production

plot for story board

PLOT

A gross slobby man opens the fridge and drinks milk straight from the bottle as it runs down his front. He makes breakfast and sees a picture of a loving family on the wall, he pulls a picture out of him and his slobby friends and looks over it sadly just as he hears a car pulling into the drive way and runs to the window to see a the tenants of the house unloading luggage from their car, just returning from a holiday. The slob then hears a key unlocking the front door and turns to the door in fright. He finishes his meal, grabs his jacket and cheeses it outta there. 

The hobo then walks down a street searching for a new, empty home to occupy and finds a seemingly abandoned house. Once he breaks in and checks the house out just as the tenants once again come home. This Time he finds himself trapped in the house and in a frenzy of panic he hides in a closet.

The tenants are a slobby family. The dads begins dinner in the kitchen, the kid sets the table and the Mum sits in the arm chair. They sit down for dinner, the hobo looks at the photo after seeing the family kind of look like them. He takes of his glasses to look but drops them. The father steps up to grab something and the hobo sees what looks like a body on the table. he freaks out. The hobo watches the family eat atroshily what looks like a human and looks around trying to find a weapon. He finds a plastic knife and a long stick and tapes it together. He looks back and the family are seemingly gone. He opens the cupboard with his crap weapon in front of him. he sees a bleary vision of a body on the table and walks up to it in shock. He looks to the side and sees the mother knitting what looks like body parts together. The hobo thrusts his crap weapon at her and rushes back clumsily through the door. The mum watches confused as he leaves the yells “mark!” We see in the same shot the body on the table turn her head at the noise, its their kid. 

Mark the dad turns at the sound seeing the hobo. The hobo takes one look at the butcher knife in his hand and the meat on the table and freaks, ditches his shit weapon back tracking the other way. He runs out into hall and sees kid see he turns runs back into kitchen opens knife draw which is filled with plastic knives and forks and turns and sees ma and pa, he throws the plastic cutely at them then runs out back door. Kids running around outside  she runs through washing, he sees what look like blurry ghost because of his lack of glasses and runs into pole knocking him out. The photo of him and his hobo friends drop out of his pocket the dad picks it up and looks at it sympathetically, the camera zooms out and the mum and the kid are devouring him.

Quicks cuts are a great way to show a process or routine just like in Edgar Wright's 'Shaun of the Dead'. It would be cool to show a person in a panic grabbing their possessions and fleeing a scene with this technique.
